When I released Diagoristan, I immediately began working on this.

Unlike other projects where I actively focus on creating a solid concept (such as Diagoristan, Avarice, or Possession), I attempted to use this as a medium to let everything through that I had happened to feel at any given time. However, as I began to collect more and more songs for this album, I realized that these songs all, surprisingly, did seem connected. Although I have aided the continuation process with transition periods, it struck me that as I created this album piece by piece, everything blended together in a very strange way that I have never been able to describe.

When Aaron began talking to me about what he was experiencing, I took his ideas and helped him hide what he knew within the music. He also helped me seal this project into an altogether piece. He's not here anymore, but my time with Aaron Warsh will forever be a very memorable and somewhat frightening time for me. Although I don't know what exactly happened to him, all I can assume is that he is comfortable and safe. All I have left of him is what was co-written by me and him, some of which is included within a PDF in the download for this album.

Takes me back to my high school classroom during the days of binging Inio Asano's old manga scanlations before anything was licensed. At that time, I was discovering many kinds of Asian shoegaze, but I've never heard anything like this.
